Manual Therapy
Manual therapy is used to help reduce pain and swelling, minimize inflammation, promote healing, reduce soft tissue tension and improve range of motion and function. The aim of manual therapy is to improve the patient’s quantity and quality of movement.
Manual therapy is a form on hands-on treatment used to mobilize or manipulate muscles, joints, fascia nerves and other soft tissues. Sometimes it involves the use of tools, such as mobilization belts, cups, and soft-tissue instruments to aid in the mobilization or manipulation of tissues.
